Life Changing Indeed

A knot was tied
It was something expected. Yna has been announcing the engagement ever since I met her and her fiancé. The couple looked good together, their parents and relatives looked contented, I was well-fed – it might as well be a happy ever after.

Kharmey sang Whitney from the elimination round to the finals, and she was phenomenal. All those times, I cheered and hollered and walked the enemy lines with courage only a Cossack-mocha ice can sustain.

My college friends, Olive and Barry, had been each other’s escorts (read: “Please be my date because I cant get pretty girl/boy to go with me”) for a couple of years now. It works for both of them as they play the dating field. It came to a point, early this year in fact, where they agreed to get married if they’re still single at age 32. That’s a standing 7 year-contract, which was breached last night, when Barry decided to marry Sally and invited Olive to be their secondary sponsor. Now, how can she refrain from pinning that cord loose?

Witnessing all these makes me think of my own life changing experience. I have recently made a big move that permanently changed my life. Maybe I have yet to realize this experience’s impact on me.
